  • Wide game TONIGHT💦💦💦💦

    Please can ALL scouts meet at hut this evening at 19:15. Full outdoor clothes. Walking boots essential and waterproof coat and trouser. Pick up at Hut at 21:15  

  • Scouts is back!

    Scouts is back, back again!! Light Blue 19:30 – 21:15 Wednesday 12th September Dark Blue 19:15 – 21:15 Friday 14th September keep your eyes out for the program in the next week.

  • Water sports day…..

    Success!!! What a day of sailing, windsurfing and raft building. Done dinner; time to rest before the next adventure!!

  • We have arrived!!!!

    After a short trip down the M1 via Tibshlef services we are on site and camp is taking shape. A little rain then sun but it’s great!

1st Ben Rhydding Scouts is part of the Ben Rhydding (De Mohicanen) Scout & Guide Group.

Our headquarters are on Wheatley Lane in Ben Rhydding and the scout section is for boys and girls aged 10½ to 14.

Week in, week out, we do scouting as best we can; everything from camping to pioneering, and global issues to cooking.

We help develop the young people of today into the best people they can be tomorrow.

    It’s a gorgeous day up the Dale and all the kids are out of bed outside and ready for the days activities!!

    Both Light and Dark Blue troops did the Group proud on Sunday.

    Fantastic turnout and for each and every Scout a huge well done for attending and showing that those who died in the Great Wars have not been forgotten by you.
